This particular bag, “LumberJack and his Lady” is off the market, but more bags will be coming as I make them. Every tote is made from second hand clothing and is completely one of a kind. It’s my way of going green and staying in style. Enjoy! And if you’d like to purchase one please visit my etsy store. Thanks and please enjoy these designs by PunkyJ!
This bag was made out of a men’s wool button down shirt. The pockets on the back were removed from the front and re-applied to the back. The lining is from a skirt I found at the local thrift store, and the side panels are made of a black t-shirt. It is complete with 3 layers of interfacing to keep it sturdy and only the handles are store bought from the fabric store.
In the future I will include before and after pictures of the garments used so that you will have an idea of where these items all came from. And because I’m not working with flat store bought fabric, you may find a seam in an unusual spot or many other special character traits that make these functional pieces of art unique!
*****Each product is handmade from second hand clothing and fabrics and is completely one of a kind, I couldn’t duplicate any of these bags even if I wanted too! It’s my way of going green and staying in style.
